My Work
I have been an avid crafter all of my life (there is still glitter floating around to prove it), but pottery was my first real love. There's a balance you have to find in centering and in the push and pull to shape the clay that can be both peaceful and infuriating.
Glass fusing is my most recent obsession. I found a really lovely group of people who are teaching me all about the liquid properties of glass. It is similar to glazing pottery in a lot of ways, but the techniques and attention to detail are amazing in glass work. Cutting glass is similar to cutting clay, except glass is much less forgiving.
Sometimes I paint or do other artsy things, usually it's because I saw something that I wanted and thought, "I could make that!" Odds and ends of all other things art, but mostly paintings can be found here.
